Updates

Been figuring out more of this CSS stuff. Updated and posted on my climbing page (check the links on the right). I will figure out how to directly link to posts on my other page soon, but I have got some work to do now...

But first, let me mention something. Yesterday in New Jersey I saw something shocking. Christmas trees. Yes, Christmas-freakin'-trees in September! Is nothing sacred?

creationist theories

so i did it. i created a blog. why? well, to answer that we need to explore aspects of my childhood... just kidding. the real reason is this: for some time now, i have had the desire to create a web page where i could post examples of my creative output on the internet. except that i haven't had creative output. the great hope here is that by starting small i overcome my other inhibitions/activation energies towards creating.

the major impediment in this endeavor, laziness, has intervened in the actual creation of a personal website. oh sure, i've spent quite a bit of time learning html and java script. i've even made logos and animated graphic buttons that 'do their thing' when your cursor moves over them. but they were never seen because i had nothing to show.

until now! (hahaha.) actually, i am hoping that merely by using this free service (that gives me a url, designs everything for me, and allows me to do as little as possible) i might create something to post. besides, if i tell everyone about it, i can't just let it die, now can i?

expect many changes to take place. grandiose design changes will be the most noticeable. i will create a more complicated design than the average blog has. why? because i can't do this the easy way. (in reality, i sometimes feel compelled to organize things in a very particular manner understood only by myself. thanks mom.) hmm, i should create a 'mission statement' or 'note' of some sort that aids people in navigating my (future) blog...

Alpha

This is how it always begins: very small.
