For those of you who are interested, last night's dinner with Yilin's ex went well. He seems like a good guy, and has a decent sense of humor. After dinner we went for a drink before heading back uptown. I went into lab for about half an hour and crashed within seconds of getting home.
And, for those of you who are really interested, I did not sport a mustache, but showed a plethora of chest hair. Yilin's ex has very little body hair, and looks like he doesn't have to spend more than 1 minute shaving, so I was able to exert my masculinity that way. ;)

Did you ask him about it? Did you say, like: "dude, so, you seem like you don't have much hair. Does that make you seem like, y'know, you're not masculine?"
I once saw one man boast to another man how his own chest hair was curly and dense, but the other man's hair was straight and flat, and so less manly.
LOL. that is the greatest put-down i have heard all day. i will have to remember that, as i am of the curly-chest-hair persuasion.
and no, i didn't point it out. i felt that having the top 3 buttons of my shirt undone was a strong enough statement. (ok, really just the top 2, but yilin would've run away if the top 3 were open.)
Josh, the last two entries in your blog have earned you an entirely new level of respect from me. You are a genius.
